Job Title: S Email Marketing Strategist
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Central Time Zone hours)
Overview
A leading organization is seeking a highly detail-oriented Sr. Email Marketing Technologist to support the execution and optimization of email campaigns as part of a performance-driven marketing team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll help enhance email communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and related tools.
This role will support a variety of cross-functional teams in creating and deploying compelling email campaigns that align with broader marketing strategies. Ideal candidates will bring a strong mix of hands-on email development experience, design sensibility, and strategic campaign thinking.
Responsibilities

Build and execute email campaigns using SFMC, including development, QA, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with designers to develop email assets and templates aligned with brand and accessibility standards.

Conduct render testing across devices to ensure proper display and functionality.

Implement A/B tests on subject lines, content, images, and send times to drive engagement.

Maintain data extensions and leverage segmentation and dynamic content to personalize experiences.

Monitor campaign performance and generate insights through regular reporting.

Ensure compliance with email regulations including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.

Support the setup and maintenance of advanced functionality within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Required Skills
-
2–3 years of experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Proficiency with SFMC’s Content Builder and Journey Builder (Contact Builder is a plus).

Experience in Email Studio and Automation Studio.

Strong grasp of data extensions, segmentation, and dynamic content.

Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop for email asset creation.

Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics or similar tools.

Proven ability to write and proof compelling, brand-aligned email content.

Strong QA skills and keen attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with AP Style guidelines.

Experience with responsive email design and accessibility best practices.

Understanding of deliverability optimization strategies, sender authentication, and compliance practices.

Background working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional marketing environment.
