Job Title: Business Continuity Implementation Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 4+ days onsite per week required, with North American travel)

Overview
A large, multi-site organization is seeking a skilled Business Continuity Implementation Consultant to lead the execution of continuity plans across more than 50 locations throughout North America. This is a hands-on role suited for an experienced professional who has successfully implemented enterprise-wide BCP frameworks and is comfortable working across business units, facilities, and regulatory environments. The consultant will be based in the Atlanta metro area and must be available to work onsite at least four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across regional offices and operational sites.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) tailored to each site’s operations.

• Design and document continuity and recovery strategies in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 22301, NFPA 1600, and applicable U.S. and Canadian regulations.

• Partner with stakeholders across departments and regions to build customized and practical continuity plans.

• Facilitate employee training, leadership briefings, and awareness sessions.

• Organize and lead tabletop exercises and simulation drills to test and refine continuity plans.

• Maintain thorough documentation, including plan updates, testing outcomes, and compliance tracking.

• Provide insights on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Deliver regular updates to senior leadership regarding project milestones, readiness levels, and identified gaps.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience implementing multi-site BCPs for enterprise-level organizations.

• Strong background in risk management, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.

• Deep knowledge of business continuity frameworks including ISO 22301 and NFPA 1600.

• Proficiency in conducting BIAs and developing recovery strategies.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Ability to lead training sessions and continuity testing exercises.

• Willingness to travel to multiple North American sites as needed.

• Must be able to work onsite at the Atlanta-based office (Circle 75 Parkway SE) a minimum of four days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer certification.

• Experience working in complex operational environments such as manufacturing, logistics, or infrastructure.
