Lead Six Sigma Black Belt – Enterprise Process & Change Management (Contract)
Overview
We are seeking a Lead Six Sigma Black Belt to oversee an enterprise-wide initiative focused on documenting and standardizing core business workflows across HCM, Finance, and Procurement / Supply Chain. This role will lead a small team of Black Belts and serve as the primary owner of documentation standards, consistency, and stakeholder alignment.
This role is NOT technical implementation–focused.
The primary objective is organizational change, stakeholder engagement, and accurate documentation of current-state (“as-is”) processes to support future transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as lead for a team of two Six Sigma Black Belts supporting HCM, Finance, and Procurement/SCM
- Establish and enforce documentation standards, templates, and formatting across all workstreams
- Partner closely with senior leaders to facilitate workshops and capture end-to-end workflows
- Ensure consistency and quality across all documented processes
- Act as a change leader, managing stakeholder expectations and driving alignment across functions
- Coordinate closely with PMO leadership and business owners
- Support future gap analysis and improvement planning once workflows are documented
- Active Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Strong background in organizational change management and process facilitation
- Experience leading cross-functional, enterprise-scale process initiatives
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working onsite in Nashville at least 3 days per week
- Experience in HR, Finance, and/or Supply Chain environments
- Prior experience leading teams of process consultants or Black Belts
- Large enterprise or shared services experience
