Global Foundation Support Specialist (Bilingual – Chinese)
Location: Remote or Memphis, TN (Hybrid Onsite)
Overview
We are seeking a bilingual professional to support international foundation partners through strategic communication, program coordination, translation services, and operational support. This role is instrumental in maintaining strong global partnerships, advancing foundation development efforts, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
The ideal candidate is fluent in both written and spoken standard Chinese and brings strong cross-cultural communication skills, organizational strength, and the ability to operate effectively in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Foundation & Partner Communications

Coordinate and support communications with assigned foundation partners

Schedule and facilitate recurring partner meetings

Organize information for new and ongoing initiatives

Maintain strong working relationships across global regions
CRM & Operational Support

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the team’s CRM system, including:

Revenue details
-
Account and contact information
-
Educational opportunities
-
Identified challenges and action items
-

Support internal team operations, processes, and coordination efforts
Program & Strategic Support

Develop and refine program language to ensure clarity and consistency

Plan and execute foundation assessments
-
Participate in workshops supporting partner development

Draft assessment reports and summaries
-
Collaborate with regional leadership to develop strategic growth plans
Translation & Cultural Liaison

Provide verbal and written translation services in standard Chinese
-
Deliver real-time translation during training sessions and workshops
-
Ensure culturally appropriate communication aligned with regional norms

Support cross-cultural relationship management and collaboration
Required Qualifications

Fluency in oral and written standard Chinese
-
Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills

Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments, including interaction with senior-level stakeholders

Strong planning, organizational, and coordination abilities

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Cultural awareness and regional understanding of supported global areas

Willingness to travel internationally a few times per year

Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate global time zones
Preferred Qualifications

3–4 years of experience in a global support, partnership, or coordination role

Experience with data entry, documentation, and executive-level support
-
Background in fundraising, operations, marketing, or public relations

Strong time management and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including basic Excel
