Overview
A growing organization is seeking an experienced IT Business Solutions Manager to support and enhance enterprise HR technology initiatives across North America. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping drive the strategy, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of HR systems and SaaS platforms.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of business relationship management, project leadership, systems analysis, and enterprise application support experience. Responsibilities
- Lead demand management efforts for HR-related IT and SaaS solutions and integrations
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and recommend technology solutions
- Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design sessions, and stakeholder workshops
- Support change management initiatives and collaborate with business process owners and end users
- Develop functional specifications and oversee application enhancements, testing, implementation, and support activities
- Coordinate software issue resolution, root cause analysis, and system improvement efforts
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business users, leadership, and technical teams for supported systems
- Provide ongoing functional support and manage user inquiries in a timely manner
- Participate in SaaS platform evaluations, vendor discussions, and service agreement reviews
- Ensure systems and processes remain compliant with internal standards and operational requirements
- Maintain documentation related to processes, enhancements, best practices, and lessons learned
- Communicate project updates, risks, and progress to senior leadership
- Help maintain system reliability, performance, and operational stability
- Support end-user training initiatives and knowledge transfer activities
- Adhere to established project management methodologies and governance processes
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience within IT, business systems, or enterprise application support environments
- Strong experience supporting HR systems, SaaS platforms, or enterprise business applications
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and coordinating with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with change management, process improvement, and user support
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Systems or related discipline
- PMP certification or formal project management experience
- Experience participating in SaaS vendor evaluations and contract discussions
- Background supporting enterprise integrations or large-scale system implementations
