Job Title: Experience Marketing Specialist
Location: Onsite in Memphis, Tennessee
Overview
The Experience Marketing Specialist will help develop and execute marketing campaigns and event experiences designed to strengthen audience engagement and brand loyalty. This role combines experiential marketing, event coordination, campaign management, stakeholder communication, and performance analysis.
The position requires onsite work Monday through Friday, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The schedule may occasionally vary to support events but will remain within 40 hours per week. Approximately 10% travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of experience marketing strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
- Coordinate with Marketing, IT, Digital, Experiential, and other functions to deliver integrated marketing initiatives.
- Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of events to create consistent and engaging attendee experiences.
- Provide marketing oversight and event support across a portfolio of more than 25 events.
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for event staff, ensuring deliverables support event and brand objectives and are completed on schedule.
- Manage multi-channel event marketing campaigns and associated operational processes.
- Analyze event performance metrics and recommend improvements based on the results.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, sponsors, external partners, and event teams.
- Lead cross-functional discussions and help align priorities within a matrixed organization.
- Exercise independent judgment when addressing project needs, priorities, and challenges.
- Develop written and visual communications for different audiences.
- Create and deliver presentations, executive-level summaries, and detailed tactical updates as appropriate.
- Collaborate with peers and senior leaders to ensure event marketing plans support business and brand objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in marketing, event management, or experiential marketing.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale events and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills, including experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing presentations and adapting communications for different audiences and organizational levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with marketing tools.
- Ability to evaluate event performance metrics and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work onsite in Memphis and adjust working hours when needed for event support.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
