Position: Oracle Data Integrator ETL/OBIA Developer
Location:  Memphis TN; local candidates who can work onsite/hybrid is the preference but client will consider 100% remote work from other cities if necessary.

NOTE: Required ETL experience should be specifically with Oracle's Data Integrator (ODI).

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in related field.
  • 5+ years of solid ODI 11.x or higher related ETL programming experience.
  • 5+ years of solid OBIA 11.x or higher related report development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years working with ODI 11.x and BI Apps

Work Scope

One (1) Consultant needed who specializes in Oracle Data Integration (ODI) ETL Programming, RPD and OBIA report/dashboard development. Client seeks an Oracle Data Integrator ETL/OBIA Consultant to customize, develop, test, debug, deploy, administer and support ODI mappings and workflows within the pre-built Oracle Business Intelligence Application for various business areas. The candidate should also have experience with developing reports and dashboards in OBIA/OBIEE. The consultant is expected to assist the current support team and users in all phases of the product life cycle, create documentation, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, communicate directly with users, and implement new modules as needed. The successful candidate should also have a working knowledge of the Oracle eBusiness Suite applications and the ability to develop analysis in OBIA.

Job Duties

  • Code, test, debug, maintain and implement ODI mappings and workflows from Oracle eBusiness Suite and Business Intelligence Applications 11.1.x (Financials, Supply Chain and Order Management, EAM, Procurement and Spend, HR or Projects).
  • Must have hands-on experience in at least one OBI Analytics module (such as Financial Analytics, Supply chain Analytics, HR Analytics, Procurement and Spend Analytics, etc.).
  • Maintain the ODI Administration Console.
  • OBIA RPD and report & dashboard development.
  • Provide technical and process leadership for the technical team of ETL (ODI) and BI (OBIEE/OBIA) developers in all phases of the delivery process: requirements, scoping, prototyping, design, development, testing, release, and support.
  • Lead source system analysis, ETL design and development and system testing to create an integrated data warehouse based on custom and Oracle BI Applications mappings and reports.
  • Experienced in technical design with a strong background and track record of working in a high-performance environment.
  • Heavy hands-on ODI ETL development in a data warehousing environment.
  • Lead technical fit-gap analysis and develop documentation on required configuration changes to the OBIA solution.
  • Lead effort to map client’s data elements to the data elements required by the OBIA data warehouse.
  • Deep understanding of ODI ETL architecture and OBIA pre-built data models, and able to extend or develop new mappings.
  • Assist in development of initial and long-term solution architecture.
  • Develops all ETL routines to source data from client source systems and target the OBIA data warehouse.
  • Assists in taking business intelligence to the next level to support business decisions, increase automation, and recommend best practices and policies in business intelligence implementation, maintenance, and data quality.
  • Capture all changes required and remediation steps in the BI Migration Plan.
  • Works with client Infrastructure Teams/DBA for Performance Tuning related efforts.

Job Skills

  • The ideal candidate will have proven ODI experience working with large data files and understand the components of efficient ODI ETL processes with experience using Oracle BI Applications.
  • Must have strong ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) experience.
  • Must have strong Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIA) report dashboard development experience.
  • Must have strong experience in RPD development.
  • Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite applications (Finance, EAM, SCM, Projects, Procurement and Spend, HR).
  • Good knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS environment.
  • Candidate is expected to work independently and possess solid project management and prioritization skills.
  • Extend and modify existing pre-built ODI scripts.
  • Create custom ETL mappings and jobs.
  • Create custom reports/analysis and dashboards.
