Overview
A well-established organization in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support its finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong cash application experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounts receivable processes in a fast-paced environment. The position is primarily onsite with one remote day per week.

Responsibilities

Process daily cash applications within the ERP system using third-party banking and payment tools

Retrieve and post lockbox transactions to customer accounts while maintaining proper documentation

Download and track daily and monthly bank activity, providing updates to the accounting team

Distribute accounts receivable aging reports

Provide customer service support related to AR inquiries

Create and apply credit memos to customer accounts as approved

Generate proforma invoices for down payments and process credit card payments through third-party systems

Monitor and track down payments, coordinating with operations to release orders as appropriate

Perform daily cash balancing for internal and external bank accounts and maintain supporting documentation for internal controls

Manage open receivables, conduct collection activities, and recommend escalated collection actions or write-offs when necessary

Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve outstanding balances
Required Skills

Prior experience in accounts receivable, including hands-on cash application

Experience working within ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP

Experience with MRP or manufacturing-related systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with legacy systems such as AS400
