UI Developer / Front-End Developer
Memphis, TN (Hybrid Onsite)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced UI Developer / Front-End Developer to design, build, and maintain responsive web applications. This role will work closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver clean, scalable, user-friendly digital experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong front-end development experience, a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks, and the ability to build high-quality web interfaces that are responsive, performant, and easy to maintain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features for web applications
  • Translate UI/UX designs into clean, responsive, and scalable front-end code
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries
  • Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
  • Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, including browser compatibility challenges
  • Collaborate with designers, product teams, backend developers, and other engineering partners
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog discussions
  • Contribute to code reviews and front-end development best practices
  • Participate in a rotating support schedule for light validation activities and occasional after-hours support needs

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional front-end development experience
  • Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+
  • Experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience building responsive, mobile-friendly web applications
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs
  • Experience using Git or similar version control tools
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment
  • Ability to work a hybrid onsite schedule in Memphis, TN

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building reusable UI components or component libraries
  • Experience optimizing front-end application performance
  • Experience collaborating closely with UX/UI designers
  • Familiarity with modern front-end development tools and workflows
