Overview

Our client, a nationally recognized mission-driven organization, is seeking a Media Planning Specialist to support the development and execution of strategic, multi-channel media campaigns. This onsite role offers the opportunity to collaborate across marketing, analytics, and creative teams to drive impactful audience engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in digital media planning and a strong understanding of audience strategy, performance insights, and cross-channel campaign execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic media plans across paid search, display, video, and paid social channels, including both campaign-based and always-on initiatives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated, cross-channel funnel strategies and audience journeys

  • Partner with stakeholders to define campaign goals and determine the optimal media mix to achieve objectives

  • Build and refine audience targeting strategies across platforms based on defined segments

  • Maintain holistic tactical media plans, including channel budgets, forecasting, and coordination with media operations or external partners

  • Translate audience and channel strategies into detailed media plans to support seamless campaign execution

  • Partner with analytics and user experience teams to establish performance goals, forecast ROI, and ensure proper audience taxonomy

  • Provide direction on creative asset requirements for various media channels and tactics

  • Present media recommendations to stakeholders and facilitate cross-channel coordination to reduce audience overlap

  • Interpret campaign performance reporting and deliver clear, actionable insights to inform future strategy

  • Maintain strong project management practices to ensure deliverables are completed on time

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital advertising or media planning

  • Exposure to advertising technology platforms, including demand-side platforms

  • Foundational understanding of media planning principles and platform capabilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging media planning tools

  • Strong ability to interpret data trends and performance insights to shape future campaign strategies
