Overview
A nationally recognized nonprofit organization is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Experience Marketing to help shape and execute creative, engaging donor and stakeholder experiences. This role is focused on bringing the brand to life through meaningful touchpoints, integrated campaigns, and impactful event execution.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer who thrives in cross-functional environments, understands experiential engagement, and can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This position requires someone who can balance big-picture strategy with detailed execution and guide marketing initiatives that support both organizational goals and brand consistency.
Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of multi-channel experience marketing strategies that align with organizational priorities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, IT, Digital, and Experience teams—to ensure cohesive campaign planning and delivery.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage key events, ensuring smooth execution and memorable experiences for participants.
• Track event performance and provide insights to guide optimization and future strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, event staff, partners, and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure marketing plans reinforce business objectives and strengthen brand positioning.
• Communicate clearly through written, verbal, and visual formats, including preparing presentations for various audiences.
• Develop concise leadership summaries and determine when detailed documentation is needed.
• Provide marketing management and operational support for a portfolio of events, serving as the main point of contact for event teams.
• Ensure all marketing deliverables meet brand standards, support event goals, and are completed on time.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, event management, or experiential engagement.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale events and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Strong project management capabilities and experience working in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation creation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint and Excel, with familiarity in additional marketing technologies.
• Ability to interpret event performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to travel as needed (approximately 10%).
