Production Designer
Overview
A leading nonprofit organization is seeking a skilled Production Designer to support creative development and technical production across a wide range of marketing and communication materials. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with creative teams, and can balance both design execution and production-ready preparation of assets. The position is fully onsite and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
• Provide production and design support for marketing collateral, publications, presentations, advertising, and event-related materials
• Prepare and version design files to support business priorities, campaign initiatives, and organizational events
• Collaborate closely with creative leads, production teams, and print partners to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all deliverables
• Manage complex technical design needs, including layout refinement, file preparation, and adherence to brand standards
• Respond to urgent design requests and deliver polished work under tight deadlines
• Support overall creative workflow and ensure projects move efficiently from concept to final output
Required Skills
• Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office applications
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
• Experience using presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Production Art, Advertising, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in production design, graphic design, or similar creative roles
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience collaborating with print vendors or production teams
• Familiarity with large-scale campaign deliverables and high-volume design workflows
