Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Memphis, TN onsite

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives from planning through implementation. This role is responsible for managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, quality, and delivery while ensuring technology solutions align with business requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, experience leading cross-functional technical teams, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and track project plans, budgets, timelines, milestones, and scope throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate project resources, including staffing, team development, coaching, and performance management.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional project teams to define requirements and establish project objectives.

• Lead development teams in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

• Establish test plans and quality assurance processes to identify and resolve defects before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, including test execution, rollout planning, and implementation procedures.

• Prepare cost-benefit analyses to support project planning and decision-making.

• Monitor project risks, evaluate potential impacts, and apply appropriate risk management strategies.

• Ensure established project management and systems development methodologies are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and present project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to project sponsors and steering committees.

• Manage competing priorities and adapt project plans as business needs, requirements, and priorities change.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• PMP or PMI certification, preferred.

• 8–10 years of professional experience, including demonstrated project management experience.

• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver technology projects throughout the project lifecycle.

• Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, quality, and risk.

• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating cross-functional project resources.

• Demonstrated people management, team-building, and leadership skills.

• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess risk and apply sound management principles to technology solutions and business functions.

• Ability to learn business processes quickly and collaborate effectively with business partners and stakeholders at different organizational levels.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to project sponsors and leadership groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
